Energy Efficient Building Victoria from Danish Constructions
The owners of this green house at Bass, Victoria, Ian and Lois Mackay wanted to incorporate a variety of energy efficient building techniques that provide all the heating and cooling benefits required without the bills.
Ian said the double glazed windows and the innovative polystyrene bricks, filled with concrete are extremely energy efficient. The thermal capacity is very high; twice the capacity of a brick veneer wall.
