Ritek custom roofing panels from Composite Roofing Structures at Bulahdelah
In 2007 the Ritek Custom Roofing Panel was utilised in the construction of a
weekender located in Bulahdelah, designed by the Mark Hurcum Design Practice and Sheldon
Commercial Interiors.
The use of the Ritek sandwich roof panel, constructed with Custom Orb Colorbond sheeting
bonded to an insulating core, resulted in reduced ongoing maintainance; less upkeep being
an essential feature for a weekender.
The speed of installation and hence reduced construction program were a plus for Powerhouse
Building, who also employed the large panel spans and cantilevers to create extended eave
overhangs, generating shade as well as an architectural feature. The unsupported spans the
Ritek panel is capable of gave high ceilings, maximising the interior space available.
