Stone Wall Cladding Fixing from Stoneclip
The above photo is of wall cladding at the new Christchurch airport (check in counter). The project involves over 500 m2 of cladding, being done in local stone (Timaru Bluestone). The panel size is 600 mm x 600 mm and 25 mm thick with an embossed pattern that has been sand blasted into it telling the story of local area in Maori folklore. The stone panels are being fixed onto the concrete walls using the 6 mm adjustable Stoneclip with 1 drive pin/clip. The project is being installed by a local firm Timaru Bluestone Ltd under the guidance of Mr Rene Kemp.
