Acoustiflex® pipe lagging by Acoustica stops noise in a single wrap
With today's demand for prestige office and apartment dwellings
where excess noise is undesirable and unwanted, wastewater noise is becoming an
increasing concern.
Acoustica has developed Acoustiflex® PL and Acoustiflex PL Convoluted, made of a
flexible noise barrier bonded to high-density convoluted hydrolysis resistant
acoustic foam faced with a heavy duty reinforced aluminium foil. These products
offer not only a 'one step' effective noise reduction, but a high degree of thermal
insulation.
The benefits of Acoustiflex® PL are that it is easy to install and does not contain
any fibreglass or asbestos, so it is completely safe to handle. Acoustiflex® PL is
strong, flexible, durable and fire-rated to international and Australian standards.
Acoustiflex® PL can be used for all plumbing and sewerage pipes, for air-conditioning
ducting, ventilation and fan exhaust stacks. It can also be used for pump and
compressor coverings, hydraulic tanks and plastic granulators. It can be installed
above suspended ceilings, or laminated to vibrating surfaces. This multi-useful
product is supplied in roll form. It is easily cut to size and simply taped with
aluminium tape for a quality finish.
