The portable field telephone (field phone) was developed as a replacement
for the Telephone Set "K" for use with Armed Forces. It is a general purpose telephone
designed for use in military operational environments under all climatic conditions. It
may be used with all switchboards including PFTS.
It is an analogue/digital portable phone.
