How smartbreeze works with a metal roof to control your home temperature
Heating
During cool weather, there can be significant build up of warm solar heated air captured between your roof sheets and foil. This air is dragged to the smartbreeze unit and fans energised by the solar panel on your roof, forces the warm air through ceiling vents into your living spaces.
Cooling during the day
During hot weather the build up of heat in your roof is intensive. Solar energised fans force the heat from your roof ribs, enabling hot air to be continually extracted. Heat transfer to your living spaces is reduced thereby reducing your living room temperature.
Cooling at night
After a hot day the temperature drops at night. This cooler ambient air can be used to cool your home throughout the night. Smartbreeze will direct this fresh cool air into your home providing nocturnal cooling.
